National Employment Service

The National Employment Service (NES) is a modern public service providing services to unemployed persons and employers in Serbia. The beginning of the public employment service in Serbia is considered to be December 14, 1921, when one of the first regulations governing the field of employment was published - the "Law on the Protection of Workers". The National Employment Service consists of the Directorate, two Provincial Services, 34 branch offices, 21 offices and more than 120 outlets in all districts in the Republic of Serbia. The NES supports unemployed persons who want to change job, start a business or need employment advice.
